Welcome to The Plant House Cafe, a charming retreat nestled in the heart of Yangon on Hin Tha Da Street. This delightful cafe isn’t just a place to grab a bite; it’s an immersive experience that merges the love for plant life with a relaxing dining atmosphere. Perfectly accommodating for both casual meetups and solitary moments of reflection, The Plant House Cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking to unwind amidst lush greenery.

As you step inside, you’re greeted by an oasis of vibrant plants and thoughtfully curated decorations that create a cozy, inviting space. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee mingles in the air, setting the scene for a moment of tranquility. The cafe's ambiance is complemented by soft background music, allowing for enjoyable conversations or quiet time spent alone with a good book from their collection.

The menu is a delightful surprise, featuring an array of offerings that satisfy both your taste buds and aesthetic senses. Customers rave about the burnt cheese slice, a tantalizing dish that stands out for its rich, creamy texture and perfectly baked crust. Pair this with a cup of their scrumptious lime coffee, as one satisfied customer, Craig Bull, noted, and you’re in for a treat. Other tempting options include the cheese toastie and hearty chicken and rice. While reviews mention that some noodle dishes were less impressive, the overall food presentation and flavor make up for it, ensuring that there's something for everyone to enjoy.

What sets The Plant House Cafe apart is its unique offerings beyond food. Here, you can browse through a variety of 100% cotton products, as well as engage with a selection of books and games—perfect for those seeking a way to spend a leisurely afternoon. As customer Gyit shares, it’s the ideal spot to do some crocheting or to simply lose yourself in pages of an inspiring read.

While the seating may be limited and the prices might edge towards the higher side compared to typical cafes, it’s about the overall experience of being enveloped in greenery and good vibes. So, whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying a peaceful moment alone, The Plant House Cafe guarantees a delightful retreat from the bustling city outside.

Don’t miss out on this hidden gem in San Chaung. Come for the food, stay for the vibes, and leave with a heart full of lightness and inspiration.

If you are a plant lover and wants to chill, plant house should be on your list(parking lot can be hard). Space is not very large but it'll keep you private with neat decorations. I like their burnt cheese slice and coffee though they have good menu. Not just food and space, you can find some 100% cotton products and books, too. Enjoy!

Had a cheese toastie and nice lime coffee. My friend had chicken and rice and a honey drink. All nice. Staff pleasant. Not the cheapest of places (ie my coffee was 8,000) but nice to have something a bit different.

Cute cafe, nice decor inside, music plays softly so that you can easily have a conversation. Food is presented nicely. The noodle dishes are mediocre. Small bites are delicious

one of my fav places in San Chaung. There are a variety of books and magazines you can read. And also some kinds of games you can play with your friends. I went there to spend my time alone and do crocheting. That is a good spot for me.

The Plant House Cafe is in the list of my favorite cafes in the town. It's unique for combination of Cafe, Books and Plants plus many Souvenirs things. Food: ***** Food menu is creative and taste is good. Atmosphere: **** A little bit small but I hope they can expand the business and have a larger space. Music: ***** Best music for relaxation Coffee: I'm not good at coffee tastes but I like coffee from them. Tips: If you are fond of one of these things, you should go there. COFFEE, BOOKS, PLANTS,

The orange juice was delicious, and the pork belly salad was also quite flavorful. However, the Tom Yum soup noodles were somewhat salty, and the shrimp lacked freshness; the meatballs, however, were excellent. Overall, the meal was satisfactory.
